Old Betsy at Sunset - Arizona

I had been photographing this wonderful old truck in North Scottsdale, Arizona for a few years off and on before this particular evening with a striking sunset.

I positioned my camera and tripod perfectly to allow the last rays of sunlight to shine through the back of the truck.

In order for me to photograph the entire tonal range, I blended 6 different exposures together to create this photo. This allowed me to see detail in the brightest and darkest parts of the photo - something very difficult to achieve when shooting into the sun without this HDR photography technique.
