"Joshua Tree Starry Night" - California.

Stars light up the sky and a rising moon provides the foreground light in this nighttime 40-minute long exposure at Joshua Tree National Park in California.

I scouted this location earlier in the day, finding a subject and composition I liked, and hiked out later in the evening in the dark with a flashlight to the same spot.
