“Blue Hour at Lake McDonald” - Glacier National Park, Montana

Not a bad morning for my first ever sunrise shoot in Glacier National Park, Montana.

This was photographed out at Lake McDonald during the end of the blue hour, 30 minutes prior to sunrise. I found this location while out scouting the evening before, and thought it would be a great spot to catch the morning light.

I met 2 other photographers there that morning and we had the area to ourselves. A nice and peaceful start to the day for sure!
