Leaving Bozeman at 5:30am Whitney and I arrived at Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park as planned just before sunrise.<br />

Not only was it my first time photographing at Mammoth at sunrise but it was my first time ever walking around the boardwalk along the hot springs. I’ve been in Yellowstone a bunch of times now, just never walked around that area.<br />
<br />
What an awesome experience it was! While Whitney stayed warm in the truck with the dogs, I walked about 2 miles photographing in the 15F degree weather and pretty much had the place to myself - only saw 3 other people the entire time I was out there 😊.
