Whitney Hall and I made a day trip to Yellowstone National Park. It was the first time we have ever been in the park in January. When we used to winter in Arizona it made getting to the park rather difficult 😉, and not being able to experience Yellowstone in the winter was one of the worst parts of going to AZ.<br />
<br />
After yesterday's trip, we got a great look at what we've been missing all this time - sunrise in Mammoth with the snow & steam with 15F temps, coyotes, bison, elk, bighorn sheep, and more. We will definitely be making regular trips this winter! We only live 2hrs away...<br />

We had an awesome hour and a half following this river otter along a mile of the Lamar River. At one point we were with a large group of photographers but by the time we got this shot it was just the 2 of us with him/her ☺.
